The Property Ombudsman and the Property Redress Scheme
We are members of The Property Ombudsman and the Property Redress Scheme, as set out in our complaints procedure. If you have a problem with our service and we cannot resolve it between us, you have the right to ask them to step in. Their decision is independent of us.
We would much rather it never got that far, which is why our complaints procedure has fixed timescales at every step.
Trading Standards
We follow the industry standard for how we conduct business, as set out in the Trading Standards Institute's approved Code of Practice. If you have any questions about what that code requires of us, please ask and we will tell you.
The legal work is separately regulated
Sail Homes is an estate agency. It is not regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.
The conveyancing on your sale is carried out by Sail Legal Limited, which is regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers under licence 14065. That is a separate regulator with its own complaints route, and Sail Legal will tell you about it when your file is opened.
