amicable help couples divorce without using two sets of solicitors against each other. We deal with the property side. We are the estate agent and the conveyancer in one team, across England and Wales, so whether you sell the home or move it into one person's name, it is the same people doing it. We work with both of you evenhandedly, and separately if that is easier.

      Sales, transfers of ownership, and remortgages to buy the other person out. The quote comes to you at the same time it goes to your client.

What we do

One team for the whole thing

The house is usually the biggest thing left to settle, and it is the part that holds everything else up. Most people end up with an estate agent and a separate firm doing the legal work, and each one thinks the other is handling it. We do both.

  • A valuation, so you both know what you are dividing
  • Selling on Rightmove, Zoopla and our own list of buyers
  • Photos and floorplans, done properly
  • We do the viewings, and we hold the keys
  • Moving the home into one name, when one of you is keeping it
  • The remortgage, if that is how the other share gets paid out
  • The legal work, done in house by Sail Legal
  • House clearance and repairs, if it needs them

What it costs

One fee, not two

You pay once, and nothing up front. The fee comes out of the sale on the day it completes.
